Orioles sale to new ownership group approved by Major League Baseball

The Baltimore Orioles sale to a new ownership group led by Baltimore native David Rubenstein has been approved by Major League Baseball.The MLB house owners voted unanimously to approve the sale on Wednesday, finalizing the deal that began again in January price a reported $1.725 billion. The staff was bought by the Angelos household, who simply misplaced former Orioles proprietor Peter Angelos final Saturday on the age of 94.The new ownership group led by Rubenstein contains many names accustomed to Baltimore reminiscent of Orioles Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr., former Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke, and basketball Hall of Famer Grant Hill.
