Baltimore’s Marching Ravens acquired new devices for the 2024 season, that means their earlier assortment may have new houses.
The Marching Ravens are donating their used devices to native faculty and neighborhood ensembles. The donation would be the first of its sort for the most important musical group related to an NFL group.
“Every arm and angle of the Baltimore Ravens is dedicated to neighborhood outreach, and that is one instance of the marching band doing its half,” Baltimore’s Marching Ravens President John Ziemann acknowledged. “We’re thrilled to open up this thrilling philanthropic avenue for the group. Preserving the humanities and sustaining the facility of music are extremely vital missions to every current and previous member of our band.”
The donation type is now open, and candidates can choose from particular brass (sousaphones, baritones, mellophones, trumpets, and trombones) and percussion (bass, tenors, and snare drums) devices. It will stay open via August 21.
All donated devices have been made by Yamaha, they usually have been maintained and repaired yearly.
In the autumn, the Marching Ravens intention to host the instrument donation pick-up on the Under Armour Performance Center.
