Joey Chestnut returned to the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest on Friday after a one-year hiatus and reclaimed his title in dominant trend.
Chestnut devoured 70.5 hot canines and buns in 10 minutes, about six quick of his document of 76 set in 2021. The second-place finisher trailed by practically 20 hot canines.
The victory marked Chestnut’s seventeenth title at the annual Coney Island event.
