Maryland football will send four players to the 2024 NFL scouting combine, which will be held Feb. 26 to March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Offensive linemen Delmar Glaze and Gottlieb Ayedze and defensive backs Beau Brade and Tarheeb Still are among the 321 prospects who received invitations Tuesday to work out in front of scouts and team officials before the NFL draft begins April 25 in Detroit.

Notably absent is quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, who participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl in Las Vegas earlier this month. The 5-foot-11, 208-pound Tagovailoa, who entered the transfer portal last month but was reportedly denied a sixth season of college eligibility, is the Big Ten’s all-time leading passer and helped the Terps reach three straight bowl games for the first time since 2001 to 2003.

Brade, a Clarksville native and River Hill graduate, is expected to be the highest-drafted player among the Terps contingent. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound senior led Maryland in tackles for the second straight season (75) and also recorded four tackles for loss, six pass breakups, one interception and a forced fumble to earn All-Big Ten honorable mention for the second consecutive year. Listed as the 136th overall player and ninth safety on Pro Football Focus’ big board, Brade recently participated against the nation’s top upperclassmen in the Reese’s Senior Bowl alongside Glaze.

Taking over for former St. Frances star Jaelyn Duncan, who was drafted in the sixth round by the Tennessee Titans last April, the 6-5, 328-pound Glaze started every game at left tackle this past season and earned third-team All-Big Ten honors. He was one of PFF’s highest-graded pass blockers, earning an 83.6 grade.

Ayedze played 12 games and made 10 starts at right tackle in his first season with the Terps after transferring from Division II Frostburg State. Along with Tagovailoa and Still, the 6-5, 320-pound Germantown native recently participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Still tied for sixth nationally this past season with five interceptions, earning second-team All-Big Ten honors. The 6-1, 196-pound senior also had 45 tackles.

Other players with local ties invited to the combine include: Southern California quarterback Caleb Williams (Washington) and Penn State left tackle Olumuyiwa Fashanu (Waldorf), former high school teammates at Gonzaga College; Charlotte defensive end Eyabi Okie-Anoma (Baltimore/St. Frances); Penn State defensive end and Maryland transfer Chop Robinson (Gaithersburg); Alabama outside linebacker Chris Braswell (Baltimore/St. Frances); Penn State linebacker Curtis Jacobs (Glen Burnie/McDonogh); and Notre Dame cornerback Cam Hart (Baltimore/Good Counsel).

NFL Network will broadcast live coverage of the event. On-field workouts begin Feb. 29 with defensive linemen and linebackers, followed by defensive backs and tight ends (March 1), quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs (March 2) and offensive linemen and specialists (March 3).
