Art Research Residency: Levester Williams

Join Levester Williams (artist in residence on the Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture) for a dialog with collaborators Sheila Gaskins and Savannah Knoop on his present work in progress, “dreaming of a past: Baltimore” (2021–2024).
Levester Williams is a multimedia artist whose inventive manufacturing is rooted in explorations of the relationships between the fabric and social worlds. His sculptural work and multichannel video tasks have been exhibited in museums and artwork areas nationally and internationally. Artful Conversations: An Evening with Misty Copeland

She has an image ebook titled Firebird in collaboration with award-winning illustrator and creator Christopher Myers, printed September 2014. She obtained an honorary doctorate from the University of Hartford in November 2014 for her contributions to classical ballet and serving to to diversify the artwork kind.
